A Few Aromatherapy Recipes
Make A Sugar Scrub
This is effective for your whole body. If your facial skin is sensitive don't scrub as hard as you would your feet.
Use a plastic container to mix - glass may break in the bathroom. For storage, use glass.
Combine:
--1/2 cup olive oil (or coconut oil)
--1 cup of sugar
--Few drops of your essential oil (Aloes/Pomegranate is nice!)
Do this in the bathroom. Use small amounts at a time and massage gently on the skin. You can leave it on for a minute or two for a tightening effect. Rinse.
Bath Salts
8 cups of Epsom Salts
12 drops of Lavender
6 Drops of Grapefruit
2 Drops of Frankincense
In a ceramic or wooden bowl with a ceramic or wooden
spoon blend ingredients, Enjoy!! Use 1 or 2 cups to the
bath water.
Salt Glow
1/4 cup kosher salt
1/4 cup Epsom salt
1/4 cup sea salt
2 oz. Hazelnut or jojoba oil
Approx. 20 drops essential oil(s)
Mix well. Add 1 tsp. Salt Glow to your palm
and moisten with water; apply to your skin and
massage in a circular motion to exfoliate skin.
Strengthening and Creating Healthy Nails:
2 drops Wheat Germ Oil
2 drops Frankincense
2 drops Myrrh
2 drops Lemon
Rub on nails twice a week.
